What actually became of the heroes of the macaroon war? There is more to tell about Concord's lovely master baker Fan Ting Huang – who, as it happens, was one half of the legendary victors – than you might think. A former classmate (whose name we will, of course, not reveal, as we are not completely unscrupulous) claims that Fan Ting solved a missing persons case during her pastry training. According to the account, the following happened:

Golf, secret codes and a turtle A few days ago, I never would have thought that I would be talking to an FBI agent who (probably purely by chance) came across the topic and took on my research about a lost turtle.
Why the author prefers self-publishing On March 25 of this year, Fatal Contact, the first book in the “No Brainer” series, went on sale worldwide – but not in the usual way. Self-publishing is not the typical path for a promising young (well, not so young anymore) author. But for JC Spark (who, by the way, may not have chosen the name without reason – keyword: multiverse) it was exactly the right step.
Fans of Dire Contact can finally breathe a sigh of relief – or rather hold their breath in suspense. Space Time, the second volume of the No Brainer trilogy, has not only been announced, but is already in the middle of a crowdfunding campaign on BackerKit. And the best part: the funding goal was reached on the first day! The first stretch goal was just unlocked – but more about that in a moment.
How Violet makes Space World visible There are many ways to write a good book. Some authors plot everything down to the smallest detail, while others let themselves drift. And then there's JC, who knows exactly what she wants – she just sometimes doesn't know how to put it into words – a typical author :p. This is where Violet comes in.
There are strange theories about imagination. That it is located somewhere in the head. Maybe behind the forehead, somewhere between the left and right ear, just above the spot where you touch when you can't think of anything. Or in the heart, because... well, maybe because then it takes on something spiritual? Terry Pratchett said “Imagination, not intelligence, made us human.”
