“Why does your first book end with such a nasty cliffhanger?”
“And does the second one have one too?”
“Why are you always so overly cautious when it comes to spoilers?”
“Can't you just tell us what it's about?!”
I get questions like these all the time. And I understand them. Honestly. People want to know what they're getting into. And whether they can look forward to the next book or should just stock up on comfort chocolate.

But here's the problem:
Cliffhangers are like treasure chests with padlocks—you know there's treasure inside. But you have to wait until someone finds the key.
Spoilers, on the other hand, are like people who tell you who the murderer is before you even know someone is dead.
And me? I invite you in, but I don't spoil anything. I'm the kind of author who puts their best into every book – and then watches eagerly to see how my readers discover it. Not because I love secrets. But because I think stories unfold their power when you experience them, not when they are explained to you. And because I know how wonderful it is to be surprised. Or confused. Or sitting there with your mouth open, thinking: Wait a minute... hold on... did that really just happen...?!
Yes, it's exhausting. For me. For you. For everyone who tries to explain to someone why they love a book without giving away the best parts.
“What's it about?” – Um... well, it starts off innocently enough. And then it gets complicated. And then something happens that I can't tell you about. But after that, everything is different. And besides... a white kitten...
Not all cliffhangers are the same.
There are those that are there to create suspense, to make you want to read “just one more chapter” – they often come at the end of scenes and make it clear that there's more to come.
And then there are those that create suspense because they end just when the reader thinks it's the end, just before a revelation, a twist that changes everything—because with that revelation, a new story begins. There's one like that at the end of Book 1. And (spoiler alert) also at the end of Book 2.
Why is that? It's because of the nature of stories. Good, lively stories with real characters. Do you know the feeling when a classic love story is told: everything works out, happy ending, fade out. Most of the time, this creates a feeling of satisfaction and closure.
But sometimes... you ask yourself: And now? What happens to them after the wedding? What is their everyday life like? Their first argument? Why? Because these stories and characters resonate with us and live on in our minds – and we feel that their story isn't over just because their love story has a happy ending for now. Rather, one chapter ends – and a new one begins. And if that were to be written, it would be only natural to turn it into another book.
And that's how it is with my Space World books: even I haven't seen everything this world has to tell yet – but I already know that it will fill several more books. And the likelihood of cliffhangers of various kinds at the end is high – because every book is a chapter in the great story of SpaceWorld.
Nevertheless, I want to make you curious – without giving away the best parts. But don't worry—that doesn't mean you'll be left in the dark.
In the Space World Times, you'll find clues, leaks, background information, and mini-stories, finds from other people's files, interviews, and coffee breaks with minor characters who tell stories between the lines. Little breadcrumbs that lead you down the path—without giving away what awaits you at the end of the tunnel.
It's a balancing act. But a beautiful one. And just like in Space World, the same applies here:
Sometimes a glimpse through the door is enough to guess how big the house really is.
And so, little by little, a picture emerges – like a constellation made up of scattered dots. You don't recognize it right away. But if you look closely, you realize: This is no coincidence.
